Brane is the law--let's go to victory", are just some of the welcoming felicitations on one of the pages for support to the SDSM leader prepared by his fans last May, when he went back from the presidential cabinet to SDSM HQs. The groups for support or against SDSM leader formed on social web sites are particularly interesting literature these days, when in less than a year since his come back to the leader's position Crvenkovski received the vast place in the central information broadcasts and in the press. It was not so much for his own merits than for the free advertisement prepared about him by the marketing strategists of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE. The enormous energy of the skillful PR team of the VMRO-DPMNE has been lately focused on reminding about Crvenkovski's deeds through the years of his ruling, and the question arising is: why? What has Crvenkovski done so far to irritate the ruling camp so that it redirects some of its own promotion resources to reminiscences about the personality and deeds of Crvenkovski? First reanimation, then transformation of the knocked-down SDSM after the two election cycles from 2006 was Crvenkovski's basic goal with which he justified his pompous come back to the leading position, and then with a "new image" of the party and creation of a large opposition front against the present authority. At the end of the first year of this endeavor, the impression is that he has not shown spectacular results on neither of the two fronts. On the internal party plan, Crvenkovski placed new personalities, many of whom were unknown to the membership itself. He put some of the many-a-year most prominent party players under ice, trying to promote in public the new personalities, but since they have difficulties in taking over a place on the political scene, he reiterated and passed onto the operation of "partly de-freezing' some of the "old" and properly checked players. On the other hand, he managed to turn against him even a part of the membership, including some of the founders of the party, thus forming an informal social democratic opposition to the SDSM.
